ABC GUIDELINES
GIFTS OF LOVE AND COMFORT
Our goal is to make sturdy quilts that will provide love and comfort. Our goal is not to make perfect quilts, but to make something a small child could love. The one thing we insist upon is that you add a BIG dose of LOVE to each quilt you create. We donate quilts to agencies serving children from newborn to age 18.
Fabric & Size

Have fun, be creative
Use fun kid friendly, washable fabric
Any size quilt will be loved and cherished by someone in need of comfort
If using buttons, lace, fringe, raw seams be sure they are securely attached to avoid any choking hazard
Quilting & Binding
- DO
Quilt closely (no more than 5” apart)
Securely apply binding by machine or hand
Finishing
- DO
Attach our ABC Quilt cloth label furnished by ABC Quilts
Name your quilt with something fun
Use your first name, nickname, aunt, grandma, but never your last name
Wash your quilt after it is quilted and bound
Manicure your quilt, clipping extra threads

Use scented laundry products
Presentation

Be proud of your finished quilt
Present quilt at a meeting for all to see
