About us""

ABC Quilts of Colorado volunteers create small quilts for children in crisis or need. These quilts benefit children in various situations such as social services, women’s safe houses, teen mom centers, homeless shelters and emergency rooms.

Founded in 1993 by Bonny Rogerson, ABC Quilts of Colorado became incorporated in 1999 and received Federal 501©3 status. Originally it began with a very small group of volunteers donating a small number of quilts for babies born in fragile health. As our numbers has grown closer to 100 volunteers our scope has grown to serving larger numbers of children in the Denver metro area.

ABC Quilts of Colorado volunteers create small quilts for children in crisis. We partner with county and private agencies. They are then able to place the quilts that need them the most.

Our meeting time is a time of sharing. We gather to exchange patterns, ideas and fabric. The best part of the meeting is viewing each other’s finished quilts and offering encouragement to one another.
